    • [asv]   But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was angry.
    • [snd]   /bʌt/ /ɪt/ /dɪsˈplizd/ /dʒɔhnə/ /ɪkˈsidɪŋli/ /ænd/ /heɪ/ /wɑz/ /ˈæŋɡri/
    • [jnd]   And it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was angry.
    • [kjv]   But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was very angry.
    • [asv]   And he prayed unto Jehovah, and said, I pray thee, O Jehovah, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I hasted to flee unto Tarshish; for I knew that thou art a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness, and repentest thee of the evil.
    • [snd]   /ænd/ /heɪ/ /preɪd/ /ˈʌntu/ /jɪhɔhvə/ /ænd/ /sed/ /aɪ/ /preɪ/ /θi/ /oʊ/ /jɪhɔhvə/ /wɑz/ /nɑt/ /ðɪs/ /maɪ/ /ˈseɪɪŋ/ /wen/ /aɪ/ /wɑz/ /jet/ /ɪn/ /maɪ/ /ˈkʌntri/ /ˈðerfɔr/ /aɪ/ /heɪstId/ /tu/ /fli/ /ˈʌntu/ /tæhrʃiʃ/ /fɔr/ /aɪ/ /nu/ /ðæt/ /ðaʊ/ /ɑrt/ /eɪ/ /ˈɡreɪʃəs/ /ɡɑd/ /ænd/ /ˈmɜrsɪf(ə)l/ /sloʊ/ /tu/ /ˈæŋɡər/ /ænd/ /əˈbʌndənt/ /ɪn/ /'lʌviŋ'kaindnis/ /ænd/ /rɪˈpentst/ /θi/ /əv/ /ði/ /ˈiv(ə)l/
    • [jnd]   And he prayed unto Jehovah, and said, Ah, Jehovah, was not this my saying when I was yet in my country? Therefore I was minded to flee at first unto Tarshish; for I knew that thou art a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great loving-kindness, and repentest thee of the evil.
    • [kjv]   And he prayed unto the LORD, and said, I pray thee, O LORD, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish: for I knew that thou art a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the evil.
  3. 4:3 [cbgb]   耶和華阿、現在求你取我的命吧.因為我死了比活著還好。
    • [asv]   Therefore now, O Jehovah, take, I beseech thee, my life from me; for it is better for me to die than to live.
    • [snd]   /ˈðerfɔr/ /naʊ/ /oʊ/ /jɪhɔhvə/ /teɪk/ /aɪ/ /bɪˈsitʃ/ /θi/ /maɪ/ /laɪf/ /frɑm/ /mi/ /fɔr/ /ɪt/ /ɪz/ /ˈbetər/ /fɔr/ /mi/ /tu/ /daɪ/ /ðæn/ /tu/ /lɪv/

    • [snd]   /ænd/ /jɪhɔhvə/ /sed/ /doʊst/ /ðaʊ/ /wel/ /tu/ /bi/ /ˈæŋɡri/
    • [jnd]   And Jehovah said, Doest thou well to be angry?
    • [kjv]   Then said the LORD, Doest thou well to be angry?
  5. 4:5 [cbgb]   於是約拿出城、坐在城的東邊、在那裏為自己搭了一座棚、坐在棚的蔭下、要看看那城究竟如何。
